Every day, up to 250 trucks leave the Pfalzmarkt in Mutterstadt with a total of 8,000 pallets of fruit and vegetables. Deliveries are made to all regions of Germany and throughout Europe.

Pfalzmarkt eG takes care of quality assurance, complete fresh produce logistics and storage, as well as the sale and distribution of the freshly, sustainable harvested produce.

Due to the intelligent division of labor within the community, it is possible for the goods to be on their way to retailers nationwide just a few hours after being harvested from the Palatinate fields.

The certified and recognized quality management systems (QS, GlobalGAP and IFS) guarantee the consistently high quality and traceability of the products. Compared to other regions, the harvest of fresh vegetables begins about four weeks earlier.

Clever irrigation by rain-fed systems ensures the constant availability of produce even in times of drought and also extends the season by about another three weeks in the fall.
