About us
BEHR AG is a fourth and fifth generation owner-managed family business in the field of vegetable cultivation, trade and logistics. The company is one of the largest vegetable farms in Germany. As a group of companies operating throughout Europe, around 4,000 hectares of field-grown vegetables are cultivated. About 600 hectares of it are organic vegetables grown annually according to strict, ecological guidelines. Thanks to the company's own location in Spain, customers are supplied with fresh vegetables all year round, even in the winter months.
BEHR AG is a contract marketer of the producer organisation „Mecklenburger Ernte GmbH“ and its production companies are members. The contract marketers supply the central warehouses of well-known retail chains as well as industrial customers with fresh vegetables on a daily basis.
